Integrated Water Resources

The Integrated Water Resources course provides a practical understanding of how water resources are planned, managed, developed, and conserved in an integrated manner. It covers the relationship between surface water, groundwater, rainfall, watersheds, agriculture, urban development, and environmental needs.

The course introduces key concepts such as water resource planning, water demand and supply, watershed management, groundwater management, irrigation, flood and drought management, water conservation, and sustainable water use. It also explains how different stakeholders and sectors can work together to improve water availability and reduce water-related risks.
